Learn to recognize and react accordingly to emergency response situations involving hazardous waste operations and clean-up procedures.
We offer all levels of Hazwoper training including:
- 40 hour general site worker training: This course is designed for workers involved in both clean-up operations at inactive hazardous waste sites and emergency response procedures. Topics include, hazardous chemicals, toxicology, personal protective equipment, laws and regulations, levels of protection, fire protection and much more.
- 24 Hour Training course: OSHA developed this Hazwoper program for the protection of workers involved in treatment, storage and disposal operations regulated by the EPA under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act. This course identifies types of hazards and suggests precautions and protective measures to eliminate hazards at the work place.
- 8 Hour Refresher Training: This course satisfies the requirements of 29 CFR 1910.120 for eight hours of annual refresher training for individuals involved in hazardous waste activities. Students must have completed the 24 or 40 hour course as a prerequisite.
- Industrial Emergency Response: These courses are designed for individuals responding to hazardous materials emergencies. OSHA states these workers must receive training based on their level of activities at the incident and are directly related to the protection of persons, property and the environment.
