Workplace Wellness

— Proven Strategies for a Productive Workforce

Your workplace is where your employees spend 56.7% of their waking hours.

Greenleaf Management, Inc. has 20 years of industry experience in all aspects of wellness: consulting, planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating customized wellness programs.

Are you experiencing rising absenteeism, presenteeism, turnover, accidents, and healthcare costs?  We can and will help.

Does your workforce look forward to coming to work? Are they as productive as they could be? Do they exhibit good health, coping skills, and high morale?  We can help change your culture!

Greenleaf Management's Wellness Menu

1.  Workplace Wellness Audits

Audits provide aggregate data indicative of a particular culture's health issues.

Audits enable:

  • Prioritization of risk factors
  • Recommendations for workforce health improvement programs
  • Benchmarking

Aggregate data sources:

  • Group health data
  • Retrospective claims analysis
  • OSHA 300/300A forms
  • Built Environment audit
  • HRA + biometric data analysis
  • Current and prior year workers compensation claims and cost data

2.  Employee Buy-In & Ownership

Following careful analysis of your culture's Workplace Wellness Audits, customized interest surveys are developed for employee feedback on the specific wellness programs you are considering implementing.  Employee feedback at this stage is imperative. Their feedback enables matching planned interventions to their specific wellness needs. Matching programs results in employee buy-in of your workplace wellness initiative, allowing employees to claim ownership of THEIR wellness program. Employer benefits include high participation, cost effectiveness, and a high return on your investment.  Your bottom line:  reduced absenteeism, presenteeism, turnover, accidents, and healthcare costs.

3.  Program Evaluation

To evaluate anything, you have to know what it is you are intending to measure. An evaluation cannot be effective unless it includes imput from program stakeholders. Different stakeholders will have different evaluation objectives each with specific measureable outcomes. Establishing how your worksite wellness program is to be evaluated is best accomplished during the planning part of your program. Objectives should be tangible (or visible), measurable, relevant to the goal, and implemented within a designated time frame.

4.  Wellness Education Seminars

Our highly interactive, research-based 30 - 90 minute "lunch-n-learns" are personalized to your culture's specific wellness needs.

Most requested sessions:

  • "Top 10 Ways to Reduce Stress"
  • "First Steps" (Beginning Physical Activity Programs)
  • "Butt Out" (Smoking Cessation)
  • "Weigh-to-go!" (Weight Management)
  • "Plan to Play" (Physical Activity in your Built Environment)
  • "Think Positive" (Visualization/Imagery techniques)
  • "Healthy Back" (Latest information on proper lifting techniques)
  • "Be S.M.A.R.T." (Proven strategies to reach your goals)

In need of First Aid & CPR certification at your worksite? American Red Cross certification courses are taught by an American Red Cross instructor trainer with 10 years of certification experience.

  • American Red Cross Adult CPR
  • American Red Cross Adult/Infant/Child CPR

All three courses can be taught within a single eight hour workday, or on an individual basis. If your worksite has an AED (Automated External Defibrillator), this training is provided during any of the above classes.
